Clarifier Water Plant

The Clarifier water plant with filter can add water recirculation, filtration, and aeration to any bait tank. The standard version  for 15 to 25 galloon tanks features a 500 gph pump, a TiddlerTek maxi micro-bubbler venturi aerator, plus 27 square inches of filter media which can be washed and reused for years. With a filter canister that is only 3.5 inches tall, the Clarifier sits low in the tank allowing easy netting of baits. Mounting options are numerous and super flexible enabling the Clarifier to be positioned anywhere on the tank floor and on the tank wall for additional ease in bait netting. The mounting options include:

• Free standing - The Clarifier has four adjustable legs on the filter canister that can support the unit wherever you wish to place it on the tank bottom. The leg adjustments enable adjustment of clearance between tank bottom and filter canister for different bait types if needed.
• Suction cups - The Clarifier comes with four suction cups which can replace one or more of the canister legs and one can be attached to a fitting provided for attaching the Clarifier to your tank side wall.
• Side wall clip - In conjunction with the canister legs and/or a suction cup on one or more canister legs, an optional fixture is provided to attach the Clarifier to a tank side wall hanger. This arrangement keeps the Clarifier firmly in position in the tank while enabling quick and easy removal of the Clarifier for inspection, maintenance, or use in other tanks. This setup also allows for a very easy upgrade of a 20 gallon  TiddlerTek Basic Bait Tank for maximum filtration capabilities.
• Mag connector - The new 20 gallon TiddlerTek Super Filter Bait Tank is equipped with a low profile magnetic connector that works with a special companion connector provided on the Clarifier.  With this arrangement, removal and replacement of the Clarifier in the tank on the tank side wall cannot be faster and easier.

The Clarifier will operate in bait tanks with as little as 1 inch of water although at least 7 inches of water is preferred so the water level is above the aerator outlet.
