Collection: Water Plants

Water plants include a pump for recirculation, a filter to remove scales and fish waste plus an aerator to add oxygen into the tank water.  These devices are connected together physically to enable mounting within the tank. Larger tanks for fishing often have a separate compartment within the tank for the water plant.  Several of the TiddlerTek tanks have simple water plants with the filters mounted directly to the pump inlets, the aerators mounted directly on the pump outlets, and the water plant assembly attached to the tank wall. Compared to a separate compartment, this approach maximizes available tank space for your tiddlers and it eases plant access for servicing. However, it adds a few obstacles in the tank for your bait net and for your moving bait fish.
